MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS – VARIOUS APPROACHES TO TREATMENT – A CASE HISTORY SPEAKS FOR ITSELF

Posted by admin

Some years ago, when I was still operating a clinic, one of my patients was serving in the armed forces. He had consulted a neurologist and was given little hope of improvement. This diagnosis shattered the man’s interest in life. One of his colleagues noticed his state of mind and asked him to consult me. We accepted the patient and gave him both treatments outlined above. About three months later we discharged him and I can still see the young man’s happy face when he, for the first time, was able to walk with feeling in his feet.

During the course of his illness the patient described how the feeling in the nerves was returning. He noticed that it returned in the same sequence in which he had lost it in the limbs. Shortly after going home he had to surrender his military equipment and the army doctors were most surprised to see him do this personally. They asked him about the treatment he had received and one of the younger doctors was rather disparaging when he heard of it, but another doctor present, an older man, spoke up in defence of the treatment on the basis of the obvious results. The young man was very happy when he told us about the incident later on.

REASONS FOR THE WIDESPREAD INFESTATION – TROPICAL DISEASES (TRUE DANGERS)

Posted by admin

The true dangers only begin to dawn on us when we have to lie in a hut because a cold or hot fever, vomiting and diarrhoea have laid us low, weakening us to such an extent that days later we have hardly any energy and desire to live left in us. The dangers of tropical diseases have risen drastically in recent years, especially in countries where the sanitary and health inspection is now in the hands of people who still lack sufficient training and understanding. The Congo and other African countries are typical examples. In some towns in Central Africa, where malaria had previously been eradicated, the visitor has no longer any guarantee of escaping infection. The efficiency and effectiveness of inspection and control of breeding grounds in those countries that only recently acquired independence have not been possible to maintain in areas that previously had been made safe.

THE STOMACH

As is true of any other organ in our body, the stomach is a miracle of divine Creation. The mucous lining of the stomach, like all other mucous membranes, consists of elastic rubber-like connective tissues permeated by a network of arteries, veins, lymphatic vessels and nerves. All of these minute vessels and nerve bundles taper off towards the inside into extremely fine, microscopic end loops surrounding the stomach glands. The inner lining of the stomach is not smooth, but drawn up into folds, the larger rugae, or folds, being subdivided into many smaller ones. When magnified under a microscope they look like the fins of an old-fashioned central-heating radiator. The rugate inner wall of the stomach is covered with about five million tiny secretory cells. The microscopic nozzles secrete in precise amounts the enzymes pepsin and rennin making up the gastric juice, according to the particular requirements of the kind and quantity of the food that has been eaten. A sufficient amount of hydrochloric acid has also to be secreted because pepsin is activated only when there is acid present.

IMPORTANT RULES FOR NUTRITION AND RELIABLE NATURAL REMEDIES: CALCIUM

Posted by admin

The recommended diet consists basically of brown rice and foods rich in calcium. White cabbage salad and raw sauerkraut are among the vegetables that should be eaten regularly. Kohlrabi leaves (turnip cabbage) also have a high calcium content and should always be eaten, not thrown away.

Urticalcin, a proven biological calcium complex, makes the assimilation of calcium from food much easier and helps to prevent deficiency. Medical advisers sometimes prescribe calcium injections, which in theory may seem the correct way to supply the patient with sufficient calcium. I do not, however, recommend these, since I believe that the only healthy way of supplying the body with sufficient amounts of calcium is by eating vegetables that are rich in calcium, for example white cabbage and carrots.

When suffering from eczema it is important to keep off sweets of any kind. White sugar is harmful and may even create allergic reactions in some people. White flour, although not quite so drastic in its effect, should also be avoided. It is recommended for therapeutic reasons to confine one’s diet to wholegrain or wholemeal products and wholefoods.

HEART ATTACK – RECOMMENDED CHANGES

Posted by admin

A change of life-style would be of benefit to thousands of overworked businesspeople, office workers, politicians and others holding sedentary positions – all executives and managers under stress — before it is too late. They should realise that it is much wiser to take some form of preventative action rather than to be concerned solely with the financial benefits, which is all their young families would be left with in the event of an untimely death that could have been prevented.

Let us not be deceived: nature has its own hard and fast rules which we cannot disobey with impunity. If an assessment or analysis of your life shows that you are in danger of having a heart attack, would it not be sensible to change your life-style and modify your daily routine? It would be wise to buy less petrol, for example, and use your legs more to make sure that your body cells receive enough oxygen. As far as diet is concerned, eat smaller quantities and stick to natural wholefoods of high nutritional value. The body will welcome such a change and show its gratitude by increasing its efficiency. Moreover, no unexpected heart failure will suddenly cut your life short. People under stress should make it a point to take the tincture made from the taiga root, Eleutherococcus, as well as Ginsavita tablets. These natural remedies, when taken regularly, with the recommended changes in life-style, will help to combat the harmful effects of stress.
