REASONS FOR THE WIDESPREAD INFESTATION – TROPICAL DISEASES (TRUE DANGERS)

Posted by admin

The true dangers only begin to dawn on us when we have to lie in a hut because a cold or hot fever, vomiting and diarrhoea have laid us low, weakening us to such an extent that days later we have hardly any energy and desire to live left in us. The dangers of tropical diseases have risen drastically in recent years, especially in countries where the sanitary and health inspection is now in the hands of people who still lack sufficient training and understanding. The Congo and other African countries are typical examples. In some towns in Central Africa, where malaria had previously been eradicated, the visitor has no longer any guarantee of escaping infection. The efficiency and effectiveness of inspection and control of breeding grounds in those countries that only recently acquired independence have not been possible to maintain in areas that previously had been made safe.
